ANDY - B&W.jpg

Andrea Perez, also known as Andy, is a developing interior architectural designer with over four years of industry experience. Hailing from Mexico, she infuses her work with a celebration of design inspired by her culture and creative instincts.

Andy earned her Bachelor's of Science in Architecture from the University of Texas at San Antonio in 2020. Over the past two and a half years, she played a pivotal role initiated the interior design department at Forge Craft Architecture and Design Firm. This professional firm, primarily focused on architecture and related tactile arts, engages in projects spanning affordable housing, passive homes, high-end residential, and commercial design. From the pre-design phase to construction administration, Andy has played a crucial role, leading and collaborating on diverse projects. With her collaboration, the firm has garnered multiple sustainability awards, including the Preservation Austin Award and the Design Award of Merit, while also overseeing the firm's marketing endeavors from handling everything from social media management to collaborating on RFQ/RFPs submissions

Simultaneously, Andy has independently led projects such as Almendros 106 (Residential) and Bash Botanicals (Commercial) for the past three years. In these ventures, she not only managed interior and architectural design but also worked directly with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems. Her leadership extended to administrating the construction for both projects.

Andy firmly believes that while skills contribute to good design, a truly great design stems from lived experiences. Her key inspiration for each project is the journey it takes her on. Having had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, Andy has discovered her genuine passion for interior architecture and art. As she continues her career, Andy is currently exploring opportunities for a role in interior design where she can apply her skills and contribute to transformative projects.
